Why Did Ancient Egypt Expand and Flourish

Stability in Ancient Egypt

Ancient Egyptian civilization existed for 3000 years, mainly due to its stability, which allowed it to expand and flourish. Through the evidence found by archaeologists, it’s seen that their government and religion were inseparable in their eyes. Similarly to many other civilizations at the time, the government and religion brought order to society and co existed with one another. However, ancient Egypt wouldn’t have expanded and been known as the most stable civilization in history, if it wasn’t without the cooperation of all the levels of population. Both social hierarchy and interdependent classes, played a huge role in ensuring every social class completed their duties on time. Aside from Egypt’s stable social hierarchy, they also had great military and war tactics. Egyptians were protected from neighbouring countries through natural defence, and also had an adaptable army, that had access to new developed military technology. Stability through religion, social hierarchy, and military, is what allowed ancient Egypt to expand and flourish for thousands of years
